SO UNLIKE ME!

For those of you that "know me", I mean REALLY "KNOW ME" you know that I am organized and I put everything on my calendar! Well, a few weeks ago I got a new phone. The Samsung Focus.... it is a windows phone and I LOVE IT! I have immediate access to my calendar anytime anywhere. (I use GMail for my calendar). Well, I am still learning things about this NEW phone! SO, I realized today that just because you click on a specific day on the calendar to add an event, doesn't mean that your event will be listed on that day. You have to check the date of the even as you are entering the new event. With that being said........I MESSED UP.... I MISSED TO EVENTS THIS WEEKEND! I KNOW, I KNOW.... NOT LIKE ME AT ALL. I missed a baby shower and a birthday party. I thought I was putting them on Saturday, but really put them on Sunday! I was sooooooooo frustrated with myself. But, I have gotten over that......

February- the start of many birthdays

February- kinda crazy month for us.
Trenton's basketball season ended. He loved playing basketball! The next weekend were tryouts for baseball and softball! Trenton and Hollie both did really well at their tryouts! Practice will start this week for both!
Both kids are doing well in school! Although, they are ready for spring break!
We have a lot going on at church right now. We attend World Victory Church (WVC). We are so HAPPY there! WVC is growing right now and it is GREAT! Check out the website www.worldvictorychurch.org.

The month of February starts back to back birthdays for us. Feb 16 -Jim (brother in law), Feb 18- Brian (brother in law), Feb 22- MINE, followed by several birthdays in March, April and May, then July.

This is all for now, as I said earlier; in the words of Jennifer "baby steps"
Come back for another update later this week!

Long time since I blogged

Wow, didn't realize I have blogged since September.... lets see if I can catch you up.

  • October- Not much to say, Happy Halloween. The kids had a great time at our Church Fall Festival.

  • November- Happy Thanksgiving. Also extremely thankful and blessed! Let the cooking and baking begin for the family and for the kids class at school. Love to cook/bake. Went Black Friday shopping again. Love it. Got lots of great deals on gifts.

  • December- Merry Christmas- We had a great Christmas! Lots of great, fun get togethers with family and friends! Lots of baking and cooking going on!

  • January-Happy New Year! The start of a new year and the start of a new ME! Lots of time out of school for the kids due to the weather! Lots of family bonding time!

That is a nut shell version of our life from October to the end of January. I will post another blog about Feb.

My sister (in law) has inspired to me to start blogging again-in her words "baby steps"- Thanks Jennifer!
