Finally Summer

Well, we made it to the end of another school year! Both kids had a great year with great teachers. T will now be in 6th grade and H will now be in 1st grade. Wow how they grow up soooo fast! I feel so blessed to have such wonderful, healthy children! They may keep me busy and drive me crazy sometimes, but I would NOT trade them for anything in the world!!!!! ☺ ☺

I hope this will be a busy, fun summer for us. We are planning to go to spring valley beach, the zoo, maybe even the Montgomery zoo again, a trip to Georgia to visit with Jennifer and her family, and maybe a short beach trip!!! ☺

Memorial day is coming up so we will have a busy weekend with visiting family and cookouts and family fun day/pre-reg for VBS at our church WVC on Sunday from 2-5!

Ready for summer!

T just recently went to space camp with the school and he loved it. He said "I would stay longer if I could have"- my reply was "2 nights and 3 days was long enough". His team won "Best Mission" He had a great time, but was extremely tired. They were on the go non stop from 7 am until 9:30pm. So needless to say, he was glad that his baseball game on Friday night was rained out as well as his game on Saturday morning. He was able to catch up on his sleep!

The kids are looking forward the summer program at school this year. They will have a lot of fun there! I am looking forward to have some time off this summer with them !!

We have found a new church to attend and the kids are really loving the youth group there!

Coming soon is a kindergarten graduation for H. I am sad because she is getting so big, but happy because she is a smart little girl. I am so happy to have smart, wonderful children!

One more party left

So, Trenton has the last party of the crazy "first" birthday group of the year! On Thursday of last week Trenton turned 11. WOW! I feel like yesterday he was just born and coming home with me! I can't believe my babies are 6 and 11!! They are so big and smart and beautiful! I am so blessed to have wonderful, healthy children!

For J & T's birthday gift, we got them a basketball goal. So for a week, we had a hole in the driveway because J was digging a hole to put the post for the goal in. Now that the new addition to the driveway is up and ready, J & T have been playing basketball almost everyday! They are really enjoying it!

We had a really great Easter! We had lots of food, of course, and made lots of good memories playing outside with all the kids!

School is almost over and the kids are ready for summer! I am hopeful that we will get to take a trip to the beach and take a trip to Atlanta to spend some time with J's sister and her family!

2 Bday's down.... several to go!!!! Hollie's party was good. She had a lot of friends and family here! They were able to play outside (thanks to the nice weather). She was tired after her party...she crashed. Now, its time to get ready for the rest of the parties. Here are some pictures (click on the word pictures)

Baseball season is here!

Well, February was a good month for us!!! Basketball and Cheer are now over! Baseball season has officially started! Trenton has a good team and coach. So we are going to have a busy few month ahead of us not only with baseball, but with all the birthdays starting in February! Brian, Jim, mine, Jeff's, Hollie's, Trenton's, Tanner's, Jaxson's, and Kacey's. And this doesn't included non family member birthday parties that we are invited too!

Spring break is coming up and the kids are ready for a break! They are also ready for summer! I am hoping we get to go to the beach some this summer and over to GA to visit Jennifer and her family!

Well, I really don't have much to say right now- too tired to think about much right now! I will be posting some pictures later in March, so come back soon for updates!

Whew! Time flies by!

We have had a great year so far! We have still been busy with different sports going on. Hollie really likes cheering and Trenton really likes playing basketball. Trenton is getting ready to start baseball again; Hollie did not want to play this year. Her words were "it's just not for me". Those of you that know Hollie know that she was very sassy when she said this.

We are getting ready to start a busy time of birthday parties. Just for the kids we will have Hollie, Trenton, Jaxson and Kacey. Then we also have adults with birthday's during Feb and March.

The kids are doing really well in school. Hollie is starting to read very well; and Trenton is doing much better with his reading. We found a series that he did very well with; Diary of a Wimpy Kid. We are looking for some other series that are similar for him to read. We are looking at books by Andrew Clements now. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!

Well, the dryer is buzzing and I have some other stuff to do. Hope everyone is have a great year so far!

Next on the list

Well, we made it through the Holiday Season. Now on to the next few months that are going to busy for us as well. All the birthday parties. Between now and the first of April we have the following birthdays : mine, 2 brother in laws, my hubby, my daughter, 2 nephews, 1 niece, and my son. Then we are done until July. Plus, we have Easter in all the mix. And T is going to space camp with the school! WOW! Crazy!!!! So, now I am trying to get everything organized and planned for ALL of this! So, wish me luck...haha. I love planning and having parties, so that will not be hard for me!

The kids basketball/cheering is scheduled to start this weekend. It was supposed to start last weekend, but due to the BIG SNOW STORM we got, it was postponed. BIG SNOW STORM, haha, we got a few snow flurries and everything started closing. Crazy!!!!

Hollie is excited about turning 6, she is talking about getting her ears pierced. I am looking in to that. Definitely have to get both of her ears done at the same time. So we will see how that goes.

I can't believe my kids are turning 6 and 11. It seems like yesterday when I had them. H was looking at a photo album the other day and it was of T's first Easter and Christmas... aww how sad. I wish they could stay that little longer.

Well, I guess I better go rotate the laundry because it's not gonna happen on its on.
