Ok, Hollie was so excited about her first practice, it was all she talked about. She was excited when we got to the ball park and was jumping up and down. The coach split the team in to two groups. One group was going to hit and run bases while the other group was going to play catch with the assistant coach. Hollie was in the group to hit first and was fine when she walked up to the tee to hit and was getting ready to hit and the coach went to move her and there it was.....Hollie had a melt down. I mean a true melt down. For those of you who know Hollie, you know that she is funny about men. It takes her a long while to warm up to men. Sometimes months to warm up to them. So when her coach tried to move her, she screamed, yelled "I want my mom, I need my mom", threw her self out on the ground and pitched a fight for everyone to see. So, after about 10 minutes I finally got her calmed down and Trenton had to finish practice with her. She wanted Trenton to stand with her when she hit, and he had to run with her. She was ok with the other part of the practice because that coach did not touch her. He was in front of her throwing the ball to her for her to catch. I had to explain to her coach how she is and asked him to please not take it personally. It was crazy. We left her field and went to Trenton's Field for his practice and she cried because her practice was over. She wanted to practice some more-what a crazy kid.
Hopefully the next practice will be better.

That's so sweet of Trenton. Something tells me her big brother is going to spend a lot of time watching over his little sister, keeping strange "men" away from her!
