Let me catch you up....

This week was spring break for Trenton-this means he will be spending all day each day at daycare. He was not happy about it Monday morning, but it was ok when I picked him on that afternoon. I guess he had fun-he said he did. So Tuesday he is back at daycare and things are going good-that is until around 3:30 or 3:45 pm. At 4pm I got a phone call from daycare asking if I was on my way yet? I responded "no not yet, why what is wrong?" I was told that the paramedics had been called to Trenton because he was having double vision due to hitting his head on the gym floor. So, I RUSH out of work, call Jeff who just happens to get to daycare at the same time as me because he RUSHED out of work too. On my way to daycare the paramedics call me and tell me that Trenton's vision is back to normal, there is not a knot yet, his pupils are reactive and he seems to be acting ok. So, I then denied for them to take him to the hospital since I was 5 minutes away by this time. I figured if they were saying he was ok, then things should be ok and if he needed to go to the ER we could take him. So, I called the doctor and she said just watch him through the night and see how he does, go ahead and give him some medicine for his headache. So he did good through the night and we spent 2 1/2 hours at the doctors office having him checked out. They had to do some type of scan/x-ray on his head to make sure that nothing was cracked, fractured, or broken-thankfully nothing was. He checked out ok at the doctors office. On the way to daycare I asked Trenton what happened and he said that Zion(the bully-yes, the same on that Trenton fought with last summer and all this year) initially made Trenton fall. The kids were playing a football game in the gym and Trenton was in the air trying to catch the ball and Zion hit Trenton and made him fall back and hit his head. So, when we got to daycare and I got Trenton and Hollie settled (oh yea-Hollie was at the doctor with us-she was so concerned about her brother), I went and complained to the Velletta the lady under the director. the director was out sick with the flu. I expressed my concern, my anger and advised them that this was now out of control and something had to be done. Zion was always in trouble at daycare and school. I stated that Trenton and Zion are to be no where near each other, much less look at each other. I also stated that I WILL be talking to Zion's mom because I felt this had gone to far and something had to be done. Well, Wednesday when I picked the kids up from daycare Trenton told me that Zion-he goes to Leeds school-had been suspended for hitting a girl-Again, this child is out of control. Wednesday Zion tried to play with Trenton and Trenton told him NO numerous times. Zion finally asked why and Trenton said "you are a bully, and you have ruined my week (Trenton-under doctors orders could not do any thing sport related until Sunday-this made Trenton very MAD). Zion said "I hate you, I don't care if we are in God's house, I hate you". I told Trenton to kill with kindness. I said, I am handling this now, so you need to be as loving and caring to him as you can if he is around you. So-Thursday I did not get to see Zion's mom because she did not have to pick up her kids, and Friday I did not get to see her because she had to pick up her daughter early for kicking a teacher at daycare. I will see her next week though, and I have all intentions of speaking to her about this because this has gone to far and I don't want Trenton to get in another fight at daycare. I was told by someone at daycare that they are getting all the documentation in order to kick him out of daycare because this is not his first offense. This child is in time out EVERY day at daycare. He lies about everything because he things it is normal. His mom just keeps saying "I am praying about it"-don't get me wrong that is great that she is praying about him and his behavior-I pray about my kids, however you have to discipline your children when they misbehave. She just gives empty threats.

Hollie, on the other hand is doing really good. She needs green on Monday to make a perfect month at daycare. She knows it and is so excited about it. Her teacher told her that is she was on green Monday that she would get a prize.-we have also told her this.

Today we had Jaxson's 1st birthday party. It was GREAT! He got a lot of gifts and Lisa did a great job on the decorating, and the cake. he was so cute- Lisa did a slide show showing pictures of his first year. He was wonderful-he showed pictures of him when he was born, in the NICU, his first bottle, just different things. It was great. It is so hard to believe that ONE YEAR ago we were sitting in the hospital looking at a little MIRACLE!!!He is such a blessing!!!!

Also, say a prayer for the families here in bham that lost their teenagers in the awful wreck on 459 the Friday before Easter. I can not imagine what they are going through. Remember to hug your kids and tell them that you love them all the time- you never know when you want have the chance anymore.!!!
