We had to make an unexpected Dentist trip...

Last night as we are all getting ready for bed, Trenton comes to me and states that he has a tooth growing sideways through his gum on the top left of his mouth. At first I was like yea right, whatever, let me see- well sure enough, there was a tooth coming out of the side of his gum. So we went to the dentist tonight because I wasnt sure if this could cause any damage or what we needed to do. So the dentist xrayed it and looked at it and said that this is actually a pretty common thing for kids. (In the back of my mind I was thinking really- I have never heard of this.) So he said that the adult tooth is coming in faster than it should be and that is why it is starting to grow out the side. He stated that the baby tooth is loose and should fall out in about 2-4 weeks. If it has not, he said to come back so he could pull it. He told Trenton to keep wiggling it and it would fall out sooner than later. Well that was the wrong thing to tell Trenton- while the nurse was going to get him and Hollie a balloon, he wiggled it, tugged on it and made it bleed. So when the nurse came back in she ended up pulling it for him. So now Trenton has a tooth to put under his pillow tonight.

Well Hollie is doing good- she is still the same ol'crazy Hollie that she has always been.
