Summer is over

Well, Summer is over, school starts back next week! The kids have had a good summer, but they are ready for school to start back! Luckily the school did a summer program and the kids were able to attend. They had some fun filled weeks: each week they would go to the movies, go swimming, go skating. The other days during the week were filled with other fun things, like crafts, computer day, kickball tournament, go to a baseball game, going to Vulcan Materials, go to Noccolula Falls. They had a great time.

Then we, as a family, went to Georgia to visit with Jeff's sister Jennifer and her family! We had a great time. Lots of good times and memories! We will not be waiting 2 years to go back next time. We are going to do our best to make this a yearly visit! Hope your ready for that Jennifer!

I was so excited about buying school supplies; Crazy, I know, but Walgreens had an awesome sale a few weeks ago and I was able to buy the school supplies for both kids, including new backpacks for $70.00! YAY ME!!!!! I also found some really good deals on clothes for them at Target and Children's Place! Love finding great deals!!!!!!!!

Hollie will be going to 1st grade and, we have found that her teacher, Mrs. Fant, lives in our neighborhood! Trenton will be going to 6th grade, he will have 5 teachers- I think he is more excited about getting a locker- the smalls things in life!

We are still really enjoying our new church World Victory Church (WVC). There are some really awesome people there! They are really involved in the youth!
