SInce returning home

Since I was off work for the last week of July and the first week of August, I told Lisa that I would keep Jaxson for her. The lady that was keeping him decided that she was not going to keep kids anymore. So Lisa was taking Jaxson to work with her everyday because she was having trouble finding a daycare. She found a daycare and he starts next week. So, I kept my little buddy and we had a good time. He was very good. The first week the kids were home with us and we all had a good time. The second week Trenton and Hollie went to daycare on Monday, Trenton went on Tuesday and on Wednesday we went swimming at Nana and Pop-pop's for one last hurrah before school started. Trentiy and Corbin went with us and we had a lot of fun. Then school started on Thursday for both Trenton and Hollie.

Last Saturday we went to Nana and Pop-pop's to swim and Hollie decided that she wanted to be a big girl and swim with out her floaties. So, she took them off and before I knew it she was swimming under water back and forth from the steps to me. It was great. I was so proud of her. She was proud of herself as well. So on Wednesday when we went back to swim at Nana and Pop-pop's she swam underwater to me more and did a great job. Next year she will start off with out floaties and we will see how she does.

Thursday, Trenton started 4th grade and Hollie started 4k. Trenton was a little nervous about moving up to the middle school. He was no longer the big kid at school, he was back to the baby at school. Plus the new rules, he was just nervous. But he made it through the day just fine, with no problems. Hollie started off her first two days in 4k on green light. They are both happy so far and loving school--- so far. Lets see how long that lasts.

So, I start back to work on Monday and I am ready. I was glad to have the time off, but I am now ready to go back to work. So on Monday, it is back to the old routine. Yea!
