I hope everyone had a wonderful new year. We, Lisa, Trenity and I decided to bring in the new year by scrapbooking. We had a lot of fun. Eric had some fire works that he did for the kids, Then everybody (Mark, Trenity, Corbin, Jeff, Trenton, Hollie, my mom, Lisa, Eric, Jaxson and I) snacked on all the Yummy food that we had. Trenton and Corbin played and the rest of them watched T.V while we scrapbooked. We all had a lot of fun. I am ready for a new year and a new me.
Lisa (on one of her blogs) has challenged her readers to make a list of their goals and share them so that there will be some accountability. So here are mine- I challenge you to do the same. (Some of mine may be the same as Lisa's- but that is OK because I think she and I think alike on most things and we feel the same way on most things as well.)
Spiritually
- To set aside specific time alone with God each day, in prayer
- To set aside time each week to do my lesson for Sunday morning and to help Trenton do his lessons
- Put my full faith in God and know that He will not fail me!
- Pray for our government and nation on a daily basis
- Create a budget and stick with it and to keep our grocery budget at or below $100 weekly
- To NOT waste money!, and to look for ways to save money on necessary items that we purchase.
- Track all money spent and saved
- Keep pantries organized weekly
- Create and adhere to a cleaning schedule
- Clean out the office and make a area in there for scrapbooking
- Watch less television weekly
- Have more family time
- Keep cars washed and maintained
- Keep closets organized
- Maintain a weekly meal plan (this will help me stay with in my weekly budget.
Personal
- Commit to a serious workout routine- this will make me happier with my appearance.
- Arrive at least 10 minutes early for everything
- Update my blog on every one to two days (for my readers!)
- Have all Christmas presents purchased no later than December 10, 2009
- Have a date night every month; with my spouse of course.
- Practice random acts of kindness
I wish everyone a wonderful and safe 2009!!!
